Get yr game on at GRSF tonight

File this one under: FRIENDS SUPER TEAM-UP! EA#1 contributors and good buddies Hellen Jo & Calvin Wong (aka, the illustrious art genius duo HELVIN) have teamed up with game wizard Derek Yu to create a game for the Giant Robot show, GAME OVER / CONTINUE? .

Like the previous GAME OVER show at the GRSF gallery, this one features art inspired by games, but also will feature 4 news games (pairing up indie game designers like cactus and Petri with indie artists like Deth P. Sun & Saelee Oh). From what I heard, their game will be a little bit FATAL FURY but feature JIN & JAM and RAMBLE ON! power-ups. It looks really fucking cool! PS: I forgot to mention, this show features a piece by another EA#1 contributor: Matt Lock!

Aaaah so fucking exciting. I just saw these caps on Derek's blog. It looks absolutely incredible. But how long until the general public can hope to play, I wonder? At any rate, please tell us more details once you've played it?

Will do! I wonder if Derek will consider releasing the .exe later? I understand it's more of a strolling and wandering game, and not goal-oriented. Should be tight.

The game will indeed be released to the interwebs after the show. It's sort of a beat-em up like double dragon.

PS. Word from Adam is that this game will be projected on the wall!
