It's scary how much better this one is than the original, but still as medieval and ridiculous. I STRONGLY approve this post.

Thanks doodz, you know I used to worship McFarlane but after drawing this I noticed that he even pulls the "I can't draw feet so I'll put them behind a rock" scam!

I think the main thing I just noticed in comparison is how RIDICULOUS his weird little signature nameplate thingy is, with the long-ass M.... what is that?

i was always almost mesmerized by that damn signature plaque. like, really? i guess he could get away with it

the plaque is almost as big as his ego! There were also guys that made goddamn pictograms with their signatures, like there was this one inker for image that signed his work with a picture of a key... it wasn't until much, much later that I realized it was the name "Scott" creatively arranged.

Personally I come from the John Romita Jr school of signing work.

Yey! It's Calvin Day! I do prefer your soft purples to the loud ones on the original. Tod's signature is one of my favorite things about him, it reminds me of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's signature or maybe one of the Viennese Secessionist's signatures.
