A few months after two posts featuring content from the LIFE Photo Archive, I'm back with another strange find. Remembering that the earlier posts featured Beatlemania in America and youth in revolt in Tokyo, these photos are outtakes from an issue of LIFE (from either the '50s or '60s?) but I can't figure out exactly which one. All I know is that they were taken by European photographer Nina Leen, and are creepy, frantic, and weirdly charming:
